Project Surveyor - Field Installer (Full-Time)

Reporting To: Director of Sales

Location: Syracuse, New York (With Travel)

Employment Type: Full Time 

Work Schedule: Day Shift (Hours May Vary)

Salary: $25.00 – $27.00/hr

Role Description: The position is for an experienced construction surveyor to measure, assess, and document information required for project estimating, scheduling, and management.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Survey job sites to gather essential information and precise measurements to accurately prepare and plan for projects.
  • Use equipment and tools to accurately measure.
  • Advise customers of any onsite conditions, building defects, or potential impact to project scope.
  • Take quality photos of required portions needed for project management.
  • Prepare Site Audit Report with pictures and corresponding data to provide clear scope of work within Salesforce CRM
  • Work with precision and accuracy in the documents produced.
  • Receive instructions and implement from architects and construction managers.
  • Adheres to all Armoured One Security recommendations.
  • Ability to travel to various job sites as needed.
  • Provide recommendations and project support to Field Services Project Managers.
  • Participate in Field Services training as needed.

Education and Experience:

  • Valid Driver’s license and dependable transportation required.
  • Five (5) or more years of construction experience.
  • Ability to read blueprints preferred.
  • Firm grasp of methods and principles of site surveying.
  • Salesforce or CRM experience preferred.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong work ethic and organizational skills with effective time management.
  • Self-directed with the ability to be resourceful, plan and organize work.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Displays positive attitudes and practices that reflect the mission, vision, and values of Armoured One.
  • Strong problem solving skills.
  • Friendly and professional customer service skills.
  • Walk long distances for several hours.
