23 Mil. Security Film

Installation of our 23 Mil. Film is applied to the inner most surface of your existing glass and anchored to your existing framing (inside of the building). Our films are much thicker and utilize a proprietary adhesive technology to achieve the strength that other films cannot.
- Thickness: 5/16"

Armoured One’s Security Film has passed a Class 1 Shooter Attack Test where the film is shot 10 times with an AR15 .223 round and then hit with a 100 lb. ram where the glass is struck minimally two (2) times at 50-foot pounds of force by the ram. If the ram penetrates the glass before the completion of the two hits, it is considered a failure. This test is completed by FILTI. This test was created to not only protect the people behind the glass, but also protect decision makers from liability.

Be wary of any Security Film that claims to be bullet proof or bullet resistant. There is no film in existence that will make existing glass bullet resistant (or bullet proof). If a company claims this, they are lying to you.
What Is The Purpose Of 23 Mil. Film
Armoured Ones 23 Mil. Shooter Attack Film was invented to retrofit into your existing windows to slow down or stop an active shooter, by slowing down an active shooter after they have shot the glass and film. Many companies claim to have window film that does this, but they have not tested to the FILTI Shooter Attack Certification level. Moreover, there is no film in the world that will make existing 1/4 inch glass bullet proof or bullet resistant through single layer application.
Where To Use
We recommend this for exterior locations, such as windows at vestibules, doors, classroom exterior windows, office windows, large gathering room windows, and entry ways.

Our Film Has Already Saved Lives
Armoured One Film Stopped An Attack In November of 2015
In a world where violent attacks on schools have become all too common, Armoured One LLC stands as a beacon of hope. In November of 2015, our film proved its worth when it prevented a violent attacker from entering a school and harming innocent students and staff. For about 8 tense minutes, our shooter attack film held strong against the attacker’s attempts to break in. Those 8 minutes felt like an eternity, but they were enough time for the police to arrive and apprehend the assailant before any harm could be done. Thanks to our film, the attacker was unable to breach the school’s existing glass and carry out his violent intentions. The result? Zero injuries. Zero loss of life. And a community that was spared the trauma and tragedy of one of these attacks. But don’t just take our word for it. Listen to what the Superintendent had to say about that day below.
