History echoes. We certainly can’t change the past, but we can learn from it. If we fail to change the way we prepare for a problem, fail to prepare realistically, or fail to prepare at all, we shouldn’t expect different results. Police officers have changed the way they deal with active shooters over the years based on what real world experience has taught them. They no longer wait for a SWAT team to respond because they know time is of the essence. But even the mostly highly motivated and well trained police department is helpless to protect anybody from an active shooter unless they are actually at the school, and at the exact time and location the shooting begins. On average it takes several minutes for police to respond to a school for an active shooter. If history taught us anything, it has taught us to be better prepared. At Armoured One we help you stay one step ahead by being prepared for the unfortunate case of an active shooter being on your property.
